Football Game Preview: Palestine-Wheatley vs. Lakeside

Palestine-Wheatley will challenge Lakeside on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Palestine-Wheatley have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Lakeside are surely hoping to exploit.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-54, which was the final score in Palestine-Wheatley's tilt against Rison last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Palestine-Wheatley.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the match between Lakeside and Drew Central was still a pretty decisive one as Lakeside wrapped it up with a 39-22 victory.

Lakeside's win lifted them to 3-3 while Palestine-Wheatley's loss dropped them down to 3-2. In their win, Lakeside relied heavily on senior Aarion Kilgore, who picked up 103 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs. Palestine-Wheatley will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
