Recap: Lincoln Cardinals vs. Warsaw Wildcats
The Lincoln Cardinals were the 35-34 winner over the Warsaw Wildcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln took a 37-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warsaw on Wednesday. Lincoln has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Warsaw was led to victory by Tanna Howe and Angela Konopasek. Howe scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Konopasek scored 10 points along with 4 steals. The match was Howe's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Rachel Henderson was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 10 rebounds.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Warsaw, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Lincoln is on the road again on Monday and play against Warsaw at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Warsaw focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Wednesday. As for they, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m.
