Volleyball Recap: North Star Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

North Star waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Rockwood Rockets 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-17.

Alyssa Kostyk paced North Star's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kostyk got some help from Janiley Sepulveda and her 29 assists. Lia Hurley controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory got North Star back to even at 3-3. As for Rockwood, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, North Star will host Northern Bedford County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockwood, they will venture away from home to challenge Ferndale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
