Softball Recap: Casteel Victorious

Casteel posted their closest win since March 15, 2025 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Eastlake Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Alaynna Williams made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Williams was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Kenley Payne was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Lauren Fullton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
