Softball Recap: Beaver Dam Comes Up Short

Beaver Dam came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings, falling 12-3.

Beaver Dam saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gillian Schave, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Schave has hit this season.

Beaver Dam has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Beaver Dam didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-5 win against Waterford on the 10th. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hortonville on the 10th.
