Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-5 to the Alhambra Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 last Tuesday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Alhambra, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Central has already played their next contest (against Carl Hayden Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Alhambra, they have already played their next game, a 16-2 defeat against McClintock on the 28th.
