Softball Recap: Cedarville Comes Up Short

Cedarville lost against Charleston back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates came up short against the Tigers, falling 9-1.

Cedarville's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Charleston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Cedarville will head out to take on Dardanelle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sand Lizards have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.15 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of. Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
