Softball Recap: Delphi Community Comes Up Short at Home Against North White

Delphi Community unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the North White Vikings on Monday, falling 14-4. The Oracles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Delphi Community saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abie Pearson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Delphi Community didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-5 victory against Frontier on the 8th. As for North White, they will venture away from home to take on Twin Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
