Basketball Recap: Refugio Bobcats vs. Kenedy Lions
Refugio easily dispatched Skidmore-Tynan last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Refugio Bobcats fell just short of the Kenedy Lions by a score of 61-58 on Friday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
DJ Williams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds for Kenedy. With that strong performance, Williams is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.
