Softball Recap: London Has No Trouble Against Ray

London lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Ray, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The London Pirates were the clear victor by a 15-3 margin over the Ray Texans on Saturday. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 victory the Texans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2019.

The win made it two in a row for London and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Ray, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Coming up, London will take on Westlake in a tournament on Saturday. As for Ray, they will be taking part in a tournament against Laredo LBJ at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.
