Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bloomington, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Eisenhower and nudges their season record down to 5-15. As for Bloomington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eisenhower will take on rival Colton at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bloomington is set to face off against their familiar foe Carter at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
