Softball Recap: Dunmore Takes a Loss

Dunmore fell victim to Holy Cross and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in April.

Dunmore's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Holy Cross, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunmore will welcome Old Forge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Cross, they will take on Holy Redeemer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Crusaders 1.5, the Royals 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
