Basketball Recap: Euclid Comes Up Short

Euclid lost against Medina back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Euclid Panthers were dealt a 57-26 loss at the hands of the Medina Battling Bees. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while the Battling Bees are ranked 28th).

This is the second loss in a row for Euclid and nudges their season record down to 4-17. As for Medina, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Euclid will take on Shaker Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Medina has already played their next contest (against Brunswick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
