Preview: Quincy Blue Devils vs. Geneseo Maple Leafs
The Quincy Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Geneseo Maple Leafs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quincy will be strutting in after a victory while Geneseo will be coming in after a loss.
Quincy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 28 points or more this season. They blew past Althoff Catholic 48-19 at home. The victory was nothing new for Quincy as they're now sitting on three straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quincy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Fohey, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Myley Longcor, who scored 10 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Geneseo came up short against Moline last Tuesday and fell 54-46.
Quincy's win lifted them to 5-1 while Althoff Catholic's defeat dropped them down to 1-4.
