Baseball Recap: Leo Comes Up Short

Leo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Montini Catholic Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

Leo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Lott, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Leo's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Montini Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Leo is set to challenge their familiar foe De La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Montini Catholic will square off against rival St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
