Volleyball Game Preview: Diller-Odell Griffin vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles

The Diller-Odell Griffin will head out to square off against the Johnson-Brock Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Diller-Odell turned things around against Frankfort on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats.

Diller-Odell never let Frankfort on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Johnson-Brock was able to grind out a solid victory over Sacred Heart on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won three in a row.

Diller-Odell's record now sits at 7-10. As for Johnson-Brock, their record is now 10-8.

Diller-Odell came up short against Johnson-Brock in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 2-0. Can the Griffin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
