Meanwhile, Dalton came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 25-0 shutout.
Kirtland pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.8 points.
