Baseball Game Preview: Siloam Springs Panthers vs. Greenland Pirates

The Siloam Springs Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Greenland Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Siloam Springs made easy work of Muldrow and carried off a 12-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Jack OBrien was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Hyde, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Siloam Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muldrow only posted an OBP of .346.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greenland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Des Arc with a sharp 13-2 victory on Friday.

Siloam Springs' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Greenland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
