Soccer Recap: Cumberland Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Cumberland was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the King Philip Regional Warriors could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Cumberland's goal came courtesy of Paynter Maher, who's now up to two this season.

Cumberland's draw makes their record 2-0-1 this season. As for King Philip Regional, they moved theirs to 0-1-2.

Looking ahead, Cumberland will welcome Chariho at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King Philip Regional, they will head out on the road to square off against Sharon at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
