Clovis extended the longest winning streak in Tri-River this week by beating Clovis West, 28-16. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Cougars.

Clovis North took down Buchanan 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Buchanan's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Fry has thrown for 1779 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Scott Sakamoto has 40 catches for 453 yards. Billy East leads the league in rushing with 683 yards.

The Golden Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,333 from 2,419. The improvement came about via a 28-16 victory over Clovis West last week.
