Soccer Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Prairie View was the 2-1 winner over Riverdale Ridge when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunderhawks fell just short of the Ravens by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. One thing that didn't help Prairie View's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Michelle Montalvan.

This is the second loss in a row for Prairie View and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Riverdale Ridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Coming up, Prairie View will take on Northglenn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will face off against Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale Ridge will be up against Westminster's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.5 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
