Baseball Recap: Crook County Takes a Loss

Crook County lost against The Dalles back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cowboys fell just short of the Riverhawks by a score of 7-6. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crook County's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for The Dalles, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, Crook County will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Molalla at 4:30 p.m. The Cowboys' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for The Dalles, they are taking a road trip to challenge Madras at 4:35 p.m. on Thursday. The White Buffaloes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.67 runs per game on average), something the Riverhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
