Soccer Recap: Golden Valley Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Golden Valley challenged Los Banos on Friday. The Golden Valley Cougars fell just short of the Los Banos Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Daniel Gaona wasn't going to let Los Banos walk away unscathed as he scored both of Golden Valley's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Golden Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for Los Banos, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Golden Valley nor Los Banos have any future games scheduled.
