Gulf Coast entered their tilt with Babcock on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Trailblazers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-11.

Gulf Coast can attribute much of their success to Julianna Argueta, who had three digs and three aces. Those three digs gave Argueta a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cassandra Maldanado, who had seven digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: Gulf Coast was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Gulf Coast's record now sits at 6-0. As for Babcock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gulf Coast will host Immokalee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Babcock, they will take on The Village School of Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
