Atlantic strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eau Gallie Commodores 48-18. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Commodores are ranked 63rd).

It was another big night for Pedro Martinez, who threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August. Omari St.Fort was another key player, gaining 96 total yards and two touchdowns.

Atlantic didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Eau Gallie to a completion percentage of just 25%. The Eagles weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 76%.

Atlantic's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Eau Gallie, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Atlantic will challenge West Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulls' defense has only allowed 6.7 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Eau Gallie, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Merritt Island at 7:00 p.m. on November 4.
