Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Elida Bulldogs and fell 73-44. While losing is never fun, the Commodores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 518th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 189th).

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Elida, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry and Ada will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ada will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Perry surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elida, they will face off against New Bremen at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
