Basketball Recap: Beggs Takes a Loss

Beggs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 68-43 to the Henryetta Knights. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Knights are ranked 96th).

Beggs' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Henryetta, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Beggs will square off against Hilldale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Henryetta, they will be playing at home against Okmulgee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
