Basketball Recap: De Smet Jesuit Piles Up the Points Against Jennings

De Smet Jesuit was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Jennings on Tuesday. The De Smet Jesuit Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jennings Warriors 84-42. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

De Smet Jesuit now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jennings, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

De Smet Jesuit will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against St. Louis University at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jennings, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverview Gardens at 5:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
