Baseball Recap: Schurr Takes a Loss

Schurr's tournament run continued when they took on Woodcrest Christian on Saturday. Schurr lost 9-3 to Woodcrest Christian.

Schurr saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Diaz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Isaiah Trevino also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Schurr has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Woodcrest Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Schurr has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Marshall on the 29th. As for Woodcrest Christian, they will challenge South Gate at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
