Baseball Recap: Caldwell County Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Caldwell County's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Livingston Central Cardinals 12-2. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Caldwell County let Derek Wilson and Luke Parker run wild. Wilson scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, while Parker scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ari Wells, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Caldwell County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Livingston Central only posted an OBP of .263.
