Volleyball Recap: Belleville's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Potosi wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Belleville, they should've done a better job of containing Korynn Potter. The Wildcats came out on top against the Chieftains by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Potter, who had 13 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Kylee Droessler and Manhattyn Udelhofen certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Droessler had ten digs, while Udelhofen had seven digs.

The win made it two in a row for Belleville and bumps their season record up to 12-5. As for Potosi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Belleville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Darlington on the 20th. As for Potosi, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Portage on the 20th.
