Softball Recap: Muskegon Big Reds vs. Mona Shores Sailors
Muskegon extended their losing streak to ten on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-13 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Mona Shores Sailors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Big Reds of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
As for Mona Shores, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-12. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Mona Shores' part, Lilli Baskin made a big impact while hitting and pitching.
