Softball Game Preview: Reeltown Rebels vs. Horseshoe Bend Generals

Reeltown hasn't had much luck against Horseshoe Bend recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Generals at 4:30 p.m. Neither Reeltown nor Horseshoe Bend posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Reeltown is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since March 6th on Wednesday. They came up short against Lee-Scott Academy, falling 13-2.

Reeltown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kellie Whitlow, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Horseshoe Bend unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Beulah by a score of 2-1.

Reeltown's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Horseshoe Bend, their loss dropped their record down to 20-4-1.

Reeltown beat Horseshoe Bend 3-0 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
