Volleyball Recap: Birmingham Comes Up Short

Birmingham suffered their biggest defeat since August 27th on Monday. They came up short against the El Camino Real Royals, falling 3-0. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Birmingham was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-22.

Birmingham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for El Camino Real, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Birmingham is set to face off against their familiar foe Taft at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, El Camino Real will square off against rival Chatsworth at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
