Basketball Recap: Galva Victorious

Galva proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 26) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 64-63 win over the St. Bede Bruins. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bruins, too.

Galva's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for St. Bede, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Coming up, Galva is taking a road trip to square off against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. St. Bede and Seneca will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
