Volleyball Recap: Joppa-Maple Grove Falls Despite Big Games from Addison Miller and Kieran Presser + How To Watch

Joppa-Maple Grove lost against Cobden back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rangers fell 2-0 to the Appleknockers. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Joppa-Maple Grove had strong showings from Kieran Presser, who had 12 digs, and Addison Miller, who had eight digs and two aces.

Joppa-Maple Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cobden, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Joppa-Maple Grove and Northside Baptist Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cobden, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Agape Christian on the 25th.
