Basketball Recap: Greer Comes Up Short

Greer was the 69-59 winner over Fountain Inn when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellow Jackets fell 67-57 to the Fury on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Greer lost, don't look at Chase Littlefield. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-9 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ricky Hood III, who shot 60% from the field en route to 13 points.

Greer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fountain Inn, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Greer is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Powdersville at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fountain Inn, they will venture away from home to challenge Mauldin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
