Volleyball Recap: South Lyon's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

South Lyon came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Novi Wildcats by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While South Lyon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14.

Kennedy Duncan paced South Lyon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Duncan got some help from Lucy Stoll and her 18 assists. Stoll also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kate Sulkowski, each putting up two.

South Lyon's record is now 31-8-1. As for Novi, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

South Lyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lake Orion on the 11th. As for Novi, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Walled Lake Northern on the 11th.
