Softball Recap: Oliver Springs Takes a Loss

Oliver Springs saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 8-3 to the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals.

Oliver Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzie Russell, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Oliver Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oliver Springs will welcome Wartburg Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oliver Springs is facing Wartburg Central at the right time seeing as Wartburg Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
