Recap: Exeter Monarchs vs. Immanuel Eagles

The Exeter Monarchs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Immanuel, falling 79-37. Exeter lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 80-63 score last time.

Exeter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jake Iversen, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals. Madden Pasos was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Exeter has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Immanuel, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Exeter's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st. As for Immanuel, they will challenge the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
