The Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets and the Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, Spencerville Adventist Academy earned a 42-35 win over Washington Christian Academy.

Among those leading the charge was CJ Jenkins, who scored 15 points. Ryan Reinhardt was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Meanwhile, Chisholm Trail Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Flint Academy 88-42 at home. Chisholm Trail Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Chisholm Trail Academy can attribute much of their success to Miquel Castro, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, and Ivan Ogaz, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ogaz has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Max Castro, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Spencerville Adventist Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Wednesday's match is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Spencerville Adventist Academy have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 37.2% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Chisholm Trail Academy struggles in that department as they've made 40% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
