San Diego Academy had won ten straight games and Dustin Jewell did his part to make it 11 on Thursday. The Cavaliers came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions for which the team can thank Jewell, who had 55 assists and ten digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 15 times he's played.

San Diego Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 15-25, 24-26, 25-9, 25-20, 15-11.

San Diego Academy pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

San Diego Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they will venture away from home to square off against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
