Pelham faced Hollis-Brookline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Pythons put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 17-6 victory. This was payback for the Pythons, who suffered a 16-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sophia Forristall was incredible, going 1-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrin Berger, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pelham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.

Pelham's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Hollis-Brookline, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Pelham will host Lebanon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hollis-Brookline has already played their next match (against Manchester West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
