Baseball Recap: Huntsville Takes a Loss

Huntsville lost against James Clemens back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Huntsville fell 6-3 to James Clemens. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Steven Cavaco was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Alex Cothren was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Huntsville's record is now 8-14. As for James Clemens, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntsville will challenge Buckhorn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for James Clemens, they will face off against Grissom at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
