Volleyball Recap: Evelyn Sinotte Key Part of Team Effort in Gladiators Win

Johns Creek won the last time they faced Lakeside and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gladiators put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.

While Johns Creek won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-16, 25-19.

Johns Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evelyn Sinotte out in front who had eight digs and two aces.

Sinotte wasn't the only good servers: Johns Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in five consecutive matchups.

Johns Creek's record is now 15-9. As for Lakeside, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-6.
