Screven County is 8-1 against Jefferson County since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Gamecocks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Screven County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

Screven County's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They blew past Lincoln County 5-0. Anna Kate Withrow was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Jefferson County was a bit more limited in their game last Thursday. They lost 5-0 to Dodge County. While losing is never fun, Jefferson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Dodge County are ranked 182nd).

Screven County pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Jefferson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Screven County's way against Jefferson County in their previous meeting back in March of 2019, as Screven County made off with a 5-1 win. Will the Gamecocks repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
