Recap: Robinson Rams vs. Lake Braddock Bruins
After flying high against the Alexandria City Titans last Friday, The Robinson Rams came back down to earth. Robinson had to suffer through a rough 37-7 loss at the hands of Lake Braddock. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, Robinson couldn't push the score so high this time.
Michael Suris looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 38 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 164 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.
Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lake Braddock, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2.
Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Braddock will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Vernon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 186th, while Lake Braddock is ranked 32nd).
