It's playoff time, and St. Johns Country Day had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the St. John Paul II Panthers on Tuesday. Considering the Spartans have won six games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting St. John Paul II from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Victoria Sarka led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

St. Johns Country Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine matches. As for St. John Paul II, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Coming up, St. Johns Country Day will welcome Christ's Church Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Johns Country Day will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last. St. John Paul II does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
