Soccer Recap: Boerne-Champion Takes a Loss

Boerne-Champion lost against Alamo Heights back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Boerne-Champion Chargers lost 5-1 to the Alamo Heights Mules. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Chargers were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Maggie Hall, who's now up to three this season.

Boerne-Champion's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Alamo Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Boerne-Champion and Alamo Heights will both be playing Boerne the next time they take the pitch. Boerne-Champion will host Boerne at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Alamo Heights will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on March 4th.
