El Capitan got themselves on the board against Golden Valley on Tuesday, but Golden Valley never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cougars 52-0. Considering the Gauchos have won ten contests by more than 24 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aaliyah Simonian had another great game (as she tends to do), rushing for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 186 yards and three TDs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (133.7). Another player making a difference was Bailee Moniz, who picked up 94 receiving yards and one score.

El Capitan's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Golden Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Capitan is set to square off against their familiar foe Atwater at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Gauchos 8.3, the Falcons 10.9) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Golden Valley will take on rival Merced at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
